If you study animals, humans really are odd. Our bodies and instincts mesh with the natural world, but our conscious thought, logic, morality, and love are bizarre.

It’s like something, or someone, dropped a conscious soul into our fleshly bodies.
We have all sorts of weird theories to explain this – alien seeding, divine possession – which just confirms how inexplicable this is.
We can try to make sense of this from our vantage point. Or perhaps the One who did this has explained it to us?
That’s the argument of Genesis. God made everything, but when it came to us God made us in His image. With His divine attributes; consciousness, love, logic and morality.
This could be just another weird human explanation, but how does a story from our most primitive times, contain such sophistication?
