People get passionate about things that matter most to them.
Passionate or pig-headed? PICTURE: Robert Zunikoff/Unsplash
That’s great. If it wasn’t like this people wouldn’t find solutions to problems, cures for diseases, technological breakthrough. They wouldn’t write soaring songs or paint poignant portraits. They wouldn’t fight injustice, or feed the poor, or describe the design of the universe.
But, people also get pig-headed about the things that matter most to them! This means they no longer listen to reason, or consider others. They express bias and begin to hate and fight and become blind.
We need passionate people, but the pigs can stay outside.
Have you found something that you are passionate about? Or has that something found you?
If you have, are you able to leave the pig-headed side of it at home?
