One of the myths of life is that there is only one perfect match out there for you. Find them and it’s happily ever after.
The truth is you could have a successful relationship with a number of people.
That doesn’t mean God hasn’t got one person in mind for you. That’s a different thing.
Understand the difference – the mythical ‘perfect match’ is the person who is easy to love, easy to live with!
No relationship is like that! The one God wants us to be with might irritate us in ways that help us grow.
If we believe the myth of the perfect match, we will be always looking over our shoulder, wondering if that person across the room is better than the one I’m with.
What makes a marriage tops, is sticking together through the good and bad, happy and sad!
