Pack animals

As humans we are pack animals. We’re designed to be part of a pack – a mob, a family, a tribe or team.

Our modern world tells us we are autonomous individuals, lone rangers, we don’t need anyone – but modern psychology tells us; we are the sum of our relationships – our closest friends define our identity, values, self-esteem, even sanity.

We do need time on our own, but too long is detrimental to our mental health.

COVID has given us time alone, but have you lost contact with your pack? Do you need to re-join a team?

Find a pack to belong to. Push through those new person nerves, get out and join, you’ll be glad you did.

Why would we be invited to call God ‘Father’ – unless we were supposed to be part of a family?
