When navigating a strange place I used to live on the edge of my seat. If we made a wrong turn I would panic and think, ‘It’s the end of the world; we’re gonna be lost forever!’
My wife, however, showed me another way. If we missed a turn, my wife did something radical – she went around the block and, amazingly, we were back on track. No panicking, no despair. She was a GPS before GPS’ were invented
When it comes to God, some of us live in fear that one wrong turn will see us missing out on God’s plan for us forever.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Just go around the block, and you’ll be back on track.
Jesus is our free pass around the block. That what the cross means; a chance to start over every day!
