Fickle

I have this nasal issue where I’m supposed to use an antihistamine every day to keep my nasal passages from swelling and blocking. When this happens, I use it for four days, and they clear up.

Can you guess what happens? After four days, since I can breathe, I forget to use the spray, or worse, think I don’t need it anymore! A few weeks later; I can’t breathe.

We humans are fickle! This is a problem for people on prescriptions for mental health, but also true for exercise, piano practice – anything.

How about this? We pray, go to church, read our Bible, and follow God. It improves our life, so we let all those habits slide.

Don’t be like this, keep going. Don’t give up!
