Change to avoid transitions

Are you someone who uses change to avoid transitions?

The late American organisational consultant William Bridges names people like that. They will change jobs rather than discover what it is in themselves that keeps finding such terrible bosses to work for.

They will end a relationship rather than deal with the behaviours, attitudes and assumptions that keeps turning their relationships sour.

They will change churches rather than deal with the truth God is trying to reveal in them, that is making things so uncomfortable.

Do you change situations, so you don’t have to change you?

What does your CV look like? Your friendship history. Is it time to stop and face reality?

Nothing will get better until you do.
