US-based organisation Guideposts is calling for people to submit their prayers ahead of its annual Good Friday Day of Prayer event next month.
This year will be the 47th time the organisation, through its OurPrayer service, has held the event. It is inviting people to submit their prayer requests online at www.ourprayergoodfriday.org as well as to visit the website and spend some time praying for others.
Ty’Ann Brown, manager of OurPrayer, said it was a “great privilege to receive thousands of prayer requests from our community”.
“We are delighted to stand in the gap for those who are in need. We are committed to seeking God’s help for individuals facing challenges within their family, finances, health, community and beyond. God has and certainly will answer our prayers.”
Guideposts has invited those who can, to attend a service and prayer event in Pawling New York on Good Friday – which this year falls on 14th April.
