Museum of the Bible releases 10 day Bible reading plan for Winter Olympics

The Washington DC-based Museum of the Bible has released a 10 day Bible reading plan to coincide with the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

The Winter Olympics and the Bible, which is available on the YouVersion Bible App and at Bible.com, looks at how the Bible has impacted the games and the US and Canadian athletes who have and are competing in them including snowboarder Kelly Clark, ice hockey player Shane Doan, skier Nick Geopper, and bobsledders Lolo Jones and Elana Meyers-Taylor.

The museum, which opened in November last year, published its first Olympic-themed content in connection with the Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Jeremy Burton, the museum’s director of communications, said they received such a tremendous response that they wanted to take a similar approach to the games being held in Pyeongchang. “[C]ontent like this adds a completely new dimension to this global event.”

The Winter Olympics run from 9th to 25th February.
