Tens of thousands of Christians around the globe will take part in a social media "thunderclap" later today, simultaneously sharing a video with the Gospel message on their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram feed.
They will do so thanks to the yesHeis tool which, after they’ve signed up, will automatically share the short video presenting the Gospel message at the same time as everyone else who has joined the campaign.
The tool has been created by UK-based charity Christian Vision (CV) and comes in 10 different languages with "culturally specific content" for each region of the world.
As of early today, more than 61,000 people had joined the campaign from around the world, representing a possible global reach of more than 27 million.
The ‘thunderclap’ will take place at 7.30pm today Australian Eastern Standard Time.
