If you are eating modestly, most of the food you eat doesn’t exit the body where you think it does. It exits the body from your nose when you breath.

Really? You inhale oxygen. You exhale carbon dioxide. Where does the carbon come from? Your food. Food is carbon.
Your stomach breaks down your food into carbon, vitamins and minerals. They travel through your body, and when oxygen in your blood meets your cells and energy is produced, CO2 results, which you exhale.
So what are you flushing? You! Lots of dead cells from your body as they are replaced. And insoluble fibre.
Most of the food you eat, you breath out.
We are intelligent beings living in bodies we hardly understand! I’m not sure why but this humbles me, and makes me bow to my Creator.
