I made a friend once, but his head fell off. He was made of plasticine.

That’s the thing about plasticine friends, they don’t hurt you as much as real ones can!
It’s tempting to give up on the whole friend deal and go play with your Wii.
But there’s something about friends – they can be some of the best things in life.
When my wife had our baby I learnt something. It is in the painful things, the things that can hurt a lot – believe me, I was in some pain – that the best rewards come.
If you’d rather have plasticine friends because real ones hurt – keep looking for true friends.
They may still hurt you, but we are made for relationships. It’s through our relationships with each other and God, that we find meaning in life.
