For some strange reason, we often come to believe in God as the god-of-the-gaps. That is, God is the One we look to, to explain things we don’t understand. The mechanisms of nature or the forces behind the universe. God fills these gaps!
But what this means is, as our knowledge grows, and the gaps get smaller and smaller, God gets squeezed out!
God is not the god-of-the-gaps, but the Creator of the universe! As our understanding of things grow; how complex and beautiful and interconnected the universe is, so should our understanding and appreciation of God!
The more I understand about rockets, the more I appreciate rocket scientists!
Look what God designed, built and put into process! How big is our God! Not the god-of-the-gaps, but the God of the processes, laws and formula!
