The early chapters of Genesis are some of the most profound in Western literature, but they have been overshadowed by an overblown debate about scientific origins. Not any more!

When you compare Genesis to all other ancient creation stories, there are a number of unique features that make Genesis stand head-and-shoulders above them all.
For example, in the ancient world virtually everyone saw the Sun and Moon as divine beings to be worshipped. Genesis refutes such an idea. It demotes the sun and moon’s creation to day four and intentionally calls them lamps! They are material creations, not divine beings.
For such ancient writings to so closely align with what we now know through scientific examination is remarkable. Genesis keeps doing it over and over again. You would be forgiven for thinking such a book must be inspired!
