For February and March, 2019, we’re reading Hope Shines, a collection of short stories which were shortlisted for the Hope Prize, an annual literary award given by the Brotherhood of St Laurence for writing that transcends stereotypes of ‘the poor’ and reflects the resilience that people show in the face of poverty and testing times.
