I have met many people who have held onto something on the inside that has twisted and tainted their life. They have held on to the verge of suicide, some beyond the verge.

When you finally get them talking and ask, “why didn’t you tell someone?” They answer, “It wouldn’t have made any difference. No one could have helped.”
Sharing your feelings or situation with someone may not change the situation, but it definitely changes your inner world, how you see things, how you feel. It can change you life.
We know when people talk things out, a burden is lifted. Things do change. Life gets better.
So next time you feel yourself down in the dumps, or hear yourself saying, “no one can help”, remember this, and talk to someone. Life will get better.
