Designs for UK prayer wall unveiled this week

Designs for a giant prayer wall have been unveiled in the UK this week.

The proposed ‘Wall of Answered Prayer’ monument – which will feature a million bricks representing a million prayers answered by Jesus – is the idea of former Leicester City Football Club chaplain Richard Gamble.

The five designs, which were presented in UK Parliament this week, were selected after a competition was launched last September in conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Mr Gamble said in a video message that the next task was to find some land beside a motorway upon which to build the monument. “We’ve had a prophetic word given to us that God has got some heavenly land for us,” he said, asking people to pray that the land would be found..

Mr Gamble said that during this year an exhibition will be travelling to architectural colleges around the country so people can come and see the top 25 designs including the top five finalists and vote on which of the top five they prefer.

“You can also come to the venue and share with us your answered prayer,” he said.
