The short-list for the Australian Christian Book of the Year was announced this weekand it includes a murder mystery, a text looking at “spirituality at the table” and a book on the religious beliefs of Australian Prime Ministers.
Among the eight books which made the shortlist are Kel Richard’s CS Lewis and the Body in the Basement, Simon Carey Holt’s Eating Heaven, Roy Williams’ In God they Trust, Ken R Manley’s On the Way to Faith, Bible Society CEO Greg Clarke’s The Great Bible Swindle, Joseph Wakim’s Sorry, We Have No Space, Scott Petty’s Tactics for Teen Ministry and Cameron Semmens’ Love is the New Black.
Christian writing organisation SparkLit, which runs the annual awards, will announce the winner at an event in Melbourne on 14th August.
