When I left school, I went and worked on a farm for a man from my church. I didn’t grow up on a farm, I knew nothing, and very quickly it showed.

I stuffed up a number of jobs, broke lots of his equipment, made everything we did take twice as long.
At one point I took a load of rubbish to the dump with his trailer. When I got back, I unhooked the trailer and drove off – except I forgot to unplug the lights – when I showed him, you know what he said? “Yeah, the lights needed rewiring anyway” (they didn’t).
Boy, people have been amazingly patient with me! I’m trying to be patient to others.
Shout out to you John and Janey Duncombe.
