DAVID ADAMS looks at Boundless, a Focus on the Family website aimed at Millennials…
The website of a Focus on the Family ministry aimed at helping 20 and 30-somethings “grow up, own their faith, date with purpose and prepare for marriage and family”, Boundless comes with plenty of resources to help do just that. There’s articles on a range of issues under the broad themes of ‘relationships’, ‘adulthood’ and ‘faith’ – most recently they included one looking at the importance of attending church as a single person, another on why you should stop trying to “earn” a husband or wife through spiritual growth, and another focusing on a letter to one writer’s 26-year-old self containing advice such as how to “prepare for the future but enjoy the now”. There’s also an expansive library of podcasts, a regularly updated group blog and, of course, you can sign up for an email newsletter. Tight in its scope and reflecting the values of the Focus in the Family stable, this US-based site won’t necessarily appeal to all but provides plenty of information for Millennials seeking some encouragement at a time when they’re looking to establish themselves in the world.
