Former Deputy Prime MInister John Anderson, Wesley Mission Superintendent Rev Dr Keith Garner and former Federal Attorney-General Robert McClelland will take part in a panel discussion convened by the Australian Christian Lobby in the lead-up to this year’s federal election.
The Make It Count 2013 Election Panel event, which will be webcast live across the nation, will be held on 2nd September, five days head of the opening of polls.
Others taking part in the panel include Dr Megan Best, a bioethicist and palliative care specialist and Dr Justine Toh of the Centre for Public Christianity with the discussion facilitated by the ACL’s managing director Lyle Shelton.
Among the issues to be discussed in front of a live studio audience will be that of refugees, gambling, poverty, the sexualisation of society, family and marriage, and religious freedom.
