Cam’s Christmas Cracker, the Christian Television Australia’s Christmas Day special, is a look at the "wrappings and trappings of Christmas" as well as an exploration of the "deeper, meaningful gift inside", according to the show’s host, Cameron Semmons.
“Just like an actual Christmas cracker, this show is an explosion of delights," says the Christian poet and performer. "It is a mix of entertainment, humour, investigation, and thoughtful reflection."
Produced by Melbourne based production company Australian Christian Multimedia, the show features an "exclusive interview" with Santa Claus, a "crazy kitchen caper", vox pops; and a “Corniest Christmas Card Competition”.
The show airs at 6am on Christmas Day on the Seven Network on Christmas Day and from midday on the Australian Christian Channel. It can also be watched online from 7am at www.cta.tv.
