It amazes me how differently people can come across in text messages!

When it comes to texting, some people are all serious and formal, even though you know them to be relaxed and spontaneous.
Other people can come across all ‘giddy-as-a-schoolgirl’, using all those emoticons and abbreviations, when in real life they are very matter-of-fact!
It’s amazing what different communication methods do! I can seem all mean and bad-cop by letter, but am a big softy in person.
It should make us pause and consider when we get a text that just doesn’t seem right! Assume the best, rather than the worst.
Some people have said that on the radio I sound all smart and intelligent, ‘with-it’ and ‘got-it-all together’ (and handsome!), when in fact nothing could be further from the…OK, maybe we need to re-write that last paragraph!
