Take this for example – some people live by this trut: better to live in the delusion that you can do something, rather than having a go, and finding out you can’t.
Better to think you can do something, than have a go, and find out you can’t.
This sees students who never try; adults who never take a challenge; and people who sit in the back row criticising those up the front. Better to think you can do something, than have a go, and find out you can’t.
No, I think it’s better to have a go and be amazed at what you can achieve. And from my experience, if you have a go at one thing, even if it leads to failure, it opens your world to more opportunities than you can imagine.
Don’t be afraid to have a go.
