Human behaviour is strange.

I’ve been riding the bus lately. You have to press a button to let the driver know you want to get off at the next stop.
I remember as a kid riding the trams in Melbourne, and you had to do the same thing. I always felt self-conscious – that pressing the button would disturb the driver, or other passengers – and I found it hard to do.
Even now, there is still a part of me that feels a tinge of self-consciousness pressing the button on the bus. And it’s ridiculous because that’s exactly what the button is for!
Obviously, there’s some passiveness in me that I need to overcome.
Can I be OK with asking for what I want, asking for help? Can you?
