Some people want to live in a world where we deny evil, or we see evil as something that affects other people – not good people like us.

We are reticent to see children as containing any evil – suggesting they are just sweetness and light. Anyone who has had a child knows this is more than simply naïve, it is dangerous.
One of the greatest revelations we have to have is that there is a monster deep within us, and, if we feed that monster with anger, evil thoughts and selfishness, it will become a terrible dragon!
The first battle against evil we must fight is the battle against the monster within. We fight this battle till our dying day. Until we tame the monster within, we can tame no other.
