How much is your word worth?

Remember the old days when it was said your word was your bond? Your word was your reputation?
Now days we say ‘yes’ to things, and never show up. We promise to get something done, and we don’t. We say we’ll call, and forget.
At the end of the day, the only thing you have is your word: if your word isn’t worth anything do the maths, people will conclude you are not worth anything.
Watch your words – with them you can turn your world into order or chaos.
Be careful what you promise. Let your ‘yes’ mean ‘yes’, and your ‘no’ mean ‘no’. Follow through. Say what you do and do what you say.
