I love this. Did you know that chocolate milk was invented by some brothers as an alternative to alcohol?

In the 17th century they saw the poverty inducing, socially destructive influence of alcohol and thought – rather than post on social media and create a twitter storm – they would invent an alternative!
Their alternative wasn’t just about reducing alcohol consumption but providing jobs and business opportunities to bring people out of poverty.
You’ve heard of these brothers – the Cadbury brothers, members of the Quaker church. The model villages they built around their factories are also quite famous, for looking after their worker’s families.
Hmm, I’m not going to feel so guilty about eating chocolate anymore! Especially if it’s fair trade.
Chocolate milk, a solution to our drinking problem. Sounds good to me.
