Trolls

It’s obvious in our current social media world that we have a problem with trolls. People showing no restraint, no courtesy, no common decency and saying the most heinous things, because they think they will never be found out.

In a twisted way it makes them feel better about themselves to dump on someone else; self-imputed righteousness (superiority) for their insecurity.

Things may be changing. You may no longer be anonymous. Regardless of that, Jesus said something that should put the fear of hell into us: “Everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.”

We might think we can get away with sick social media posts. No way. One day God will hold us too account. I would be much more circumspect if I were you.
