I’ve been arguing in a few of these spots that freedom, rather than being saying and doing whatever you want, is following or obeying the coach.

You only have to think of a football team to work this out. If the team doesn’t listen to the coach, no premiership!
But you must have to have a good coach. A coach who has the team’s best interests in mind – who knows the players, their strengths and weaknesses; who is not full of ego, but is willing to give of themselves for the team.
There are coaches like that. But in life, if you want to experience abundance, if you want to reach your potential and experience that sort of freedom – you have to make sure that your Divine Coach is all these things.
That’s why I follow Jesus, who give Himself up for us.
