When you think about it, the claim of Easter is crazy. Christians believe the supreme God of the universe became a human being, and allowed Himself to be crucified by His creatures. It’s ludicrous!

No wonder the priests mocked the idea. No wonder the Romans laughed at the story.
It’s the most bizarre claim of history – unless it happens to be true.
If it’s true it’s the most beautiful thing we can imagine. Our Maker thought so much of us, He gave up His life to deal with our evil.
How do we know if this story is the greatest joke in history, or the greatest joy?
There is one way. If that crucified man came back to life, it would prove beyond a doubt he was more than just a man.
If that happened, it’s time to stand up and take notice.
