Sight Magazine was founded with the aim of informing, challenging and inspiring people about how God is moving around the world, the challenges humanity faces and how we as Christians can help make the world a better place.

We publish more than 50 stories every week including news and opinion pieces as well as columns, reviews and lifestyle pieces, sourced from our own contributors and a network of partner organisations based across the world.

We offer a range of resources to help individuals, churches and organisations connect with our coverage of global news and issues.

They include:

• Free email updates of our content known as The Sight Daily - sent every weekday, it provides comprehensive coverage of all our stories -  and The Sight Weekly - sent on Monday mornings, it provides a curated view of the week that was. Subscribers to our emails are also eligible to enter our competitions. Of course, you can also follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram.

• A weekly email prayer update in which we highlight just three issues each week to help inform your prayer life. 

• A weekly church newsletter update designed for cutting and pasting into physical or electronic church newsletters, providing just a few highlights from our coverage.

• The Sight Bookclub - we read a different book every two months and provide a space for online discussion at the end of the two months. For churches interesting in running their own “branch” of the book club with a physical meeting, we can provide some conversation starters to get people thinking about the book in question. • Sight Christian History Walks - currently running in Melbourne and Geelong, these provide an insight into the impact Christians have had in both cities. If you have a church or community group numbering eight or more (to a maximum of 20 people), you can choose your own date.

• Sight also provides advertising space for your organisation to connect directly with our readership including listings on The Sight Directory (www.sightmagazine.com.au/directory) as well as banner advertisements and url advertisements. • We’re always looking for content so if you have a compelling story you’d like to tell others about what your organisation is doing or an issue that you’d like to write about in an op-ed style piece, please email us at [email protected] The opportunities include having someone in your organisation writing about why they’re involved (in our My Mission column) and personal testimonies about how God has changed someone's life (our LifeStory column).

• While we offer all our content to all for free, we are funded by our voluntary subscribers - many of whom contribute $10 a month or $26 a year - as well as advertising and other donations. Those who give more than $26 a year are automatically enrolled in as Sight+ members which offers a (hopefully growing) range of discounts. We ask all our readers to prayerfully consider helping in this way - even as little as $1 a month helps!
