I was at home asleep when we received a phone call to tell us to watch the TV. We watched it over and over again. We could not belived what had happened and what was happening. I remember our 7 month old son rolled over for the first time, a small baby development step while the city of New York was crashing down.

I was watching Rove on TV in Perth. His next guest was supposed to be wrestler Brett "The Hitman" Hart. Like everyone else, I thought it was some strange ad for a movie or something. It couldn't be real. Of course, it's all anyone could ever talk about over the coming days and we listened to the developments on radio at work. There were so many stories of heroism amongst the horror though.
