Comment left by Coral Vass Who is Jesus Christ to me? He is so many things... my Saviour, my Lord, my friend. He is a God of new life... of second chances. On a recent trip to Hiroshima, Japan, I walked through the Peace Memorial Museum. I found it very emotional looking at the models and photographs of the devastation the atomic bomb caused to the city and it's people. And as I walked through, I came across a quote from a scientist immediately after the bombing of August 6, 1945, claiming, " Hiroshima is contaminated with radiation. It will be barren of life and nothing will grow for 75 years." But despite this experts opinion, that next month, new bubs started to sprout up and plants and trees started to grow back. And today Hiroshima is a thriving and beautiful city full of life. As I read this quote, I was reminded again that this is exactly what Jesus is like. He is a God of New Life... of second chances. He can turn the most devastated life into something new...into something beautiful.

Comment left by Baldric Jesus is Lord Jesus is Holy Jesus is the only way to have a relationship with God. Jesus died for our sins. Jesus is relationship. Jesus is the sacrificial lamb. Jesus is the Word. Jesus is our Saviour. He has a cunning plan for us.

Comment left by DP As I'm a biker, I see Jesus Christ as: • the leader of the pack (the pack can be the disciples or a larger collective group of followers, including myself) • I visualise Him leading on a huge HD along with the disciples bringing the gospel to those who are eager to learn and thirst for the word of God (roaring from town to town, drawing crowds). • I often have what I refer to as a "Calvary moment". That is, I see myself in my bike gear with helmet in hand looking up at the cross towards my Saviour who died for me to take away the sin of the world. In the background there are the disciples and their bikes, plus mine, as we carry on the spreading of the good news and bringing more of God's kingdom to those who don't know. • He still rides His bike as He will always be the leader of the pack.

Comment left by James Jesus is God who came to be with us and we can still share our lives with him, our care and concern as well as our joy and passion. He is my friend and my saviour, my guiding light when I am travelling and my comfort when I am at peace.

The most balanced of all teachers, the most giving of all friends, the most humble of all men. He left us with nothing of his to own to 'posess' except the message of His Father. Everything about Jesus was about His Father, & He justified us as worthy to come to the Father through Him. Tidy indeed.

Son of God Son of man who paid the ulitimate price of death for me so I could be set free from sin and death, reconciled to God so I could spend eternity with Him. My Kingsman Redeemer, my best friend, Jesus my everything. Recently I cut my finger on a thorn and instantly, as it hurt, I realised a little more about how great His love was for me. I thought of the flogging Jesus received, His body beaten and bleeding, he was spat upon, struck continually on the head and a crown of thorns twisted upon His head and He went through this for me and for you because of His great LOVE for us.
