THE BIG PICTURE: LOOKING AT SYDNEY'S PAST

The work of nineteenth century Australian photographer Charles Bayliss is celebrated in an exhibition at the National Library of Australia. A Modern Vision features portraits, architectural photography, spectacular panoramas and landscapes spanning the period from 1850 to 1897. Part of the inaugural Vivid: National Photography Festival, the exhibition is on at the National Library in Canberra until 26th October.
