GOD HELP US
Here come the ‘must haves’, burping and farting with the bloated excess of rampant consumerism while the skeletal ‘have nots’ sigh and wither under the relentless heat of poverty, injustice and others self-absorbed greed. Where is our sense of brotherhood and oneness? So much for the global village. If this is the global village, it’s just a macro version of what’s played out in individual communities all over the world. In the richest and poorest nations of the earth, the poor die of starvation and the rich die of excess. God help us.
