POETRY: MOVING FORWARD THROUGH FORGIVENESS OF SINS

10th February, 2010

VANESSA MALISA

Jesus was baptised into the world at a late age, but he knew what there was to know

about God before he was born.

Just like us. We know.

Then we seek, we lose.

Unfortunately sometimes failure, suffering, sin means we lose but never find because

we don’t look at the Lord and say, “Forgive me, Father, I have sinned.”

So we become lost in life.  Our happiness is superficial and no real peace exists in

this happiness.

We go around and around searching for peace and true meaning in life. Our

mind delving into dark haunts where the Devil resides. We are frightened, envious,

scared, sad, miserable and panic ridden.

But if we just say “Forgive me, Father” in our hearts and minds and go to

Reconciliation because it is through Reconciliation that we can truly move forward,

we will become free from sin and be reunited with our Father in heaven.

If you have sinned it is time to approach your local priest and ask for forgiveness.  He

will absolve your sins and bless you and  then you are free to go in peace and love

Christ forever.
